Our Vision

Our goal is to create a dynamic learning environment that fosters a passion for knowledge and utilizes cutting-edge teaching methods. We also strive to foster a culture of using technology for social good. In addition, we aim to inspire innovation and entrepreneurship by providing students, faculty, and members of society with the resources and support necessary to transform their business ideas into prototypes and marketable products.

Objectives

To foster a thriving "culture of innovation" within the institute by organizing innovation symposiums, workshops, and brainstorming sessions that inspire creativity and idea generation among students and faculty.

To champion and support students' creative business ventures by offering mentorship programs, access to incubation spaces, and funding opportunities, ultimately fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship.

To empower students with practical skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship through tailored courses, hands-on projects, and networking events in order to equip them with the tools necessary to successfully start and grow their own businesses.

To establish a dynamic and collaborative environment within the Institute that actively promotes concept scouting and pre-incubation, offering resources such as idea pitching competitions, interdisciplinary team formation, and industry partnerships to facilitate the development and refinement of innovative concepts

Journey of IIC established at the Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University

In 2021, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Preeti Kothiyal, the institution’s Innovation Council was founded at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University. As a new institution, we faced challenges and a lack of knowledge on how to effectively run innovative programs, resulting in slow progress during the 2021-2022 session. However, we learned valuable lessons from this experience.

In the following session of 2022-2023, we made significant improvements by increasing our team members and organizing various innovation programs. Through these initiatives, we successfully introduced the core vision of IIC to our students.
